May Your Fountain Be Blessed
By: Mark A Vincenti
A wedding poem Written Thursday, April 2, 2020 in honor of God’s joining of Priscilla Paino and Esteban Nieves in holy matrimony on Thursday March 26th, 2020.
May Your Fountain Be Blessed.
As you seek the Blesser.
And as you live blessed
In the presence of the Bless-ed One!
Walking in the warmth of the Son
Blessed as in the days
When the sun’s rays begun.
May your fountain be blessed.
May your fountain be blessed.
As you cling to the Blesser
Through greater days as well as lesser
Seasons of plenty and seasons of need.
Clinging to your confession, holding tight to your Creed
Times of trial, when life’s full of needs.
May your fountain be blessed.
May your fountain be blessed.
As you walk with the Blesser.
Beach days and arctic tundra
Hanging ten and being tugged under
Sweet spring rains and furious thunder
Times of triumph and blustering blunders
May your fountain be blessed.
May your fountain be blessed.
As you live together in the presence of the Blesser.
In good and bad
Happy and sad
Want and excess
Failure and success
Flying high and wrestling
Confidence and questioning
Faith and Fears
Joys and tears
God is near
Cling with hearts sincere
To the triune God
Who is always here.
And may your fountain always be blessed.
